Why is the catalyst separate from the resin?
Can you tell me why you don't include the catalyst in with the base resin or topcoat and you have to purchase it separately. I've noticed other companies include this in and wanted to know why you don't.
We deal with a wide range of customers from DIY'ers to professional contractors and we've found that separating the catalyst gives our customers the option of buying it without adding any more onto the price of the Fibrelast resin and topcoat.
Professional contractors will buy catalyst in larger quantities and will just want to top up the other core materials as they go, while our DIY customers tend to purchase the GRP roofing kits which already includes the correct amount of catalyst.
