Fibrelast
Fibrelast is our traditional GRP roofing system, ideal for small to medium-sized roofing surfaces. The product is specifically engineered for flat roofing and includes increased flexibility to deal with thermal expansion and is fire retardant to meet current building regulations.
System properties
Guarantee period
The Fibrelast system comes with a 25 year Basecare guarantee as standard, which covers the materials in the unlikely event of failure.
Projected lifespan
Providing there is no abnormal movement of the roof structure and the surface is subject to regular inspections and maintenance a GRP roofing surface will last over 30 years.

Fibrecoat
Fibrecoat is the next generation of fibreglass roofing systems and is ideal for a wide range of roofing surfaces. The system has a number of benefits over the traditional GRP roofing system including the ability to be applied directly over the existing roof surface.

What is liquid applied roofing?
Liquid applied roofing systems are the ultimate flat roofing solution for today's modern requirements.
GRP, short for Glass Reinforced Plastic or Polymers is a high-performance material made from specialised polyester resins and reinforced with fibreglass to create a strong but lightweight composite. This tried and tested process has been around since the early 1940s and in that time has been used to make everything from cars and aircraft to boats and wind turbines.
The two-part Fibrelast GRP roofing system has been specifically engineered for use on flat roofing surfaces. The system has additional flexibility to cope with thermal expansion and contraction, fire retardancy certification to meet building regulations and inbuilt UV protection to handle solar degradation and maintain its high-quality finish.
Fibrecoat is an evolution of the standard GRP roofing system, while it is applied in the same way, Fibrecoat doesn't need any catalyst to cure or a separate topcoat system instead, you just open the can and go making it much easier to apply.
The wide range of standard and custom finishes will ensure the surface of the roof not only looks good but blends into its surroundings, from traditional and modern architectural designs to listed heritage buildings.
With its strength, versatility and design flexibility, Allbase liquid applied GRP roofing systems are a modern, cost-effective long-term solution to the traditional flat roofing systems on the market today.
A range of applications
One of the major advantages of liquid-applied GRP fibreglass roofing systems is the product's versatility. It can be used on a number of different roofing surfaces and has the flexibility to work around any tricky obstacles.

Domestic roofing
Both systems can be used on a number of different domestic 'cold' and 'warm' roof projects including home extensions, garages, dormer roofs, conservatories and orangeries along with parapet walls, gullies and gutters.

Balconies and walkways
For applications that take foot traffic such as balconies, walkways and terraces we offer a dual-layer of fibreglass reinforcement for added performance and protection. This system can also be fitted with a non-slip aggregated finish for extra safety.

Simulated lead roofing
GRP roofing is widely used as a lead and copper substitute on roofs, gutters and complex detailing on Churches and listed buildings throughout the UK. Lead rolls can be replicated by using special roofing profiles and the finish can be colour matched to provide a lead or copper green effect.

Green roofing
Our systems create the perfect foundations for installing a bespoke green roof. Our living roofs offer a range of ecological and energy-saving benefits that can be planted with herbs, sedums or wildflowers that are native to your local area.
Finishing colours
To naturally blend in with the surroundings our liquid-applied GRP roofing systems come in a range of colours and can even be colour-matched from a specific sample using our Colourcoat service.

Professional installations
It's estimated more than two-thirds of problems associated with newly completed construction work are down to inadequate workmanship, which is why we check and approved only the best to apply our products and offer Basecare protection.
