My GRP flat roof has standing water
The GRP flat roof has standing water or is ponding water into one area. Standing or ponding water is a regular occurrence with flat roofing in general but one that will not affect the performance of the GRP roofing surface.
Possible causes
If you are getting standing or ponding of water then it looks like your flat roof was installed at the foundations with an insufficient fall or the decking has not been rebated where the drip trims have been attached, which created a lip that's holding the water on the roof.
Solutions
If you had the roof installed by a local contractor then talk to them and see what they can do. We do manufacture and supply a self levelling anti pooling system that can be applied directly to the area where the water ponds, talk to one of our sales representatives for more information.
