Green roofing hasnever been so easy
The Groof system makes it easy for anyone, including roofers and DIY self-builders, to install green roofing without the need for a specialised team. This means that roofers who already know how to install flat roofing systems can now expand their skillset to include green roof installation.

Installing the green roofing modules is really simple, just apply the included protective fleece over the existing roof surface and lay the green roofing modules as desired.
Low maintenance
Our ground covering alpine sedum modules grow to a maximum height of approx 30 mm and do not require cutting and need very little maintenance.

Our green roofing modules use nature to regulate a buildings temperature, keeping structures cooler in summer by absorbing the heat and warmer in winter by preventing snow and ice build up on the roof.

Adding a green roof to your garden can massively increase the habitats available to birds and insects. Specific plant mixes and features such as log piles, rocks, bird baths, insect hotels and even bee hives can be incorporated to boost the ecological impact of the area.

Groof modules
Lets take a lookunder the mud
The lightweight modules easily clip together using a special coupling system and are made from 100% recycled materials. The vegetation is delivered pre-grown with up to 12 varieties of sedum, while the wildflower version can have up-to 30 additional varieties of wildflowers and meadow grasses.
Vegetation
The green roofing modules are pre-grown with between 8-12 different varieties of sedum. The Brown Wildflower module has no sedum, just wildflower and meadow grasses. The Sedum and wildflower module has up to 30 different varieties of wildflower and meadow grasses.
Soil
Substrate soil for intensive and extensive green roofing.
Membrane
The non-woven textile is used to avoid intermingling between the soil substrate and drainage.
Installation
The module is equipped with a double-action coupling system. The tabs on the side of each part engage the edge in the gaps between tabs of the facing part making it really easy to clip together and install.
Carrier
The green roofing carrier module is made from 100% recycled HDPE plastic and performs a number of different roles. The carrier acts as a water reservoir, drainage layer, and protection from excessive drying of roots, while the cups improve the product handling making it easier to install.

Two choices fora greener roof
Our kits contain everything you need to create your own living green roof, simply choose one of the two available modules below with roof guards and stones available as optional extras.
Protective Fleece
Included with every green roof module the fleece is laid out on the roof to protect the liquid membrane.
Edge Guard
If you don’t have a parapet or an upstand of at least 100mm then this aluminium guard can be installed.
Scottish Pebbles
Scottish Pebbles are a great solution for walkways, footpaths and borders around your green roof.
